Blogspot on Google ads

I don't understand this logic. People go for free blogging platforms like Blogger because they are amateurs who don't want to spend money on hosting and stuff. That is understandable. But, advertising the blog on Adsense?

Well, I was browsing through Digg today, and found this blog called Movies--Now.Blogspot.com showing up there. I clicked on it, to get a rose screen all over, which was redirected to MyiPodDownloads.

I had only wanted to put in this as an exclamation post. But, I think I just realized the reason of why a blogspot is put in advertised. Apparently, Google Adwords is against posting mirror sites on their ads. That is, every site advertised through their site should be of unique content and not some affiliate site. So, this blogger had simply used a free blogspot blog to redirect the link to his original affiliate link. Great idea!

by the way, what does Google ToS say about plain redirection? I think I have to check out.
