Wikia to finally start earning??

Wikia is soon launching a search engine. Ok, that is not the only news...Wikia, the group behind Wikipedia was long looking at a search engine product. TechCrunch today released pictures of its to-be launched Search Engine on its blog.

One thing that clearly seemed to stand out was its 'Sponsored lists'. For the first time, Wikia is really planning to monetize from its product. Wikipedia, its affiliated websites, and even OpenServing are free products with no monetization whatsoever. Finally, Jimmy Wales has started earning!!!
