Tips for healthy hair

Healthy hair can show that the body is healthy. As our body needs healthy food, diet nutrition in the same way our hair needs good food in other words great nutrition. There is few most important foods hair needs for its healthier growth they are:

• Water

It’s true that one-fourth of the weight of our hair strand is of water present in it. So, it’s very important for us to take lots of fluids in our diet and plenty of water in a day whenever you have a chance to drink. Most of the people feel that drinking water is only required when they are thirsty but fact is when there is great water loss in human body he gets thirsty something like, the tank gets empty then only it needs to get filled up. The moisture in our hair keeps hair healthy and shining. So, it’s advisable to at least have eight to ten glasses of water a day.

• Protein

Protein is the strength for hair. Our hair needs lots and lots of protein filled food. Its prevents hair from breaking and splitting. There are many food items where you find proteins like milk products, meat, fish and also cereals.

• Minerals

Minerals like Iron, Zinc and copper are very important.

Iron helps in carrying oxygen to hair which is very important for hair growth. It is very important from the root to the strand. We can find iron in dark green vegetables, red meat or also sometimes iron tablets.

Zinc strengthens hair proteins which does nothing but reduce hair fall. We mostly find zinc in seafood and meat.

Copper is useful for hair pigmentation. It helps in retaining the natural color of the hair in other words will not let the hair get grey early. Mostly copper is found in meat, nuts, seeds, fresh vegetables, Shellfish liver.

• Vitamin

Vitamin A is very useful for the skin so it helps the scalp to be healthy to support hair healthy. Vitamin A is found in Vegetables especially in carrot.

Vitamin B and Vitamin C is very good for hair growth, color and circulation. By this the hair becomes stronger and will not get splits in the strands. Vitamin B and Vitamin C is found mostly in foods like fruits, cereals, vegetables, meat, eggs, milk products and bread.
Along with the things above by regular exercise and avoiding much shampoo which has chemicals can help out hair to grow much healthier.
