Hansie Cronje was admonished for using an earpiece. Ricky Ponting had a graphite coated bat. Now, Gilly, the Australian who single-handedly gave Australia their fourth world cup last month has admitted to using a squash ball in his left glove to improve his grip.

Ah! If a squash ball is legal, then so is a bottle cap, and so is a lip-gel. C'mon..all this improve your chances on the field, doesn't it? And this was the World Cup final, mind you..

Sri lanka in finals

Sri Lanka really came on top of New Zealand yesterday..But I am not impressed. Over the past three world cups, it has been each of the sub continental teams facing Australia (I am now almost sure that Australia is making to the finals) in the finals. If Sri Lanka is going to break the jinx, then great! But I am sorry, I have no hope for A SL win in the finals... :((

Sri Lanka looks really impressive in this year's cricket world cup. They have been showing quite good winning skills. Though I am not staunchly supporting them, since I would want either South Africa or New Zealand to walk away with the trophy, I guess Sri Lanka have put themselves onto a nice position, which in itself is quite commendable..

I have not been following much of what is happening at the world cup ever since Indians lost out to Bangladesh for the super eights. But then, ever since, I see some great games happen. Sachin hit yet another century yesterday to help India win an ODI series. This was his 41st century. Sachin is here merely to make the one whoever is going to break his record a run for his money. That is because, he has been on the top century maker list for a long long time now, and this one is only going to add to the chaser's agony.

More agony to all those retards who keep bashing him, not only when he is out for a few runs, but even when he scores a half-century, courtest, just the match previous to this one. Their complaint was he did not score enough boundries. Sachin's bat is his middle finger to these retards.
