Controlling the shopping crowd during Christmas season

Christmas is fast approaching and if you are a retailer, it is that time of the year when your sales can zoom. But then, with every rose comes a thorn and so is the issue of crowd control.

What we do in our area is that we get in touch with our local police officers to enable the deployment of barricades, stanchions and velvet rope around our area in such a way that people who visit our shopping area can easily move around without being heckled in the crowd. The organized shopping experience also gets the word out and more people choose to visit our area than the other shopping places in the city.
