PINKS on SPEEDTV

In a recent edition, Hot Rod Magazine called the popular TV show,'PINKS' as "the hottest car show on television". Watched by more than two million viewers every week, this show, hosted on SPEED TV has also become the most watched weekly series on SPEED.

PINKS is basically a classic 1950s Drag race, where contestants are pitted in a best three-out-of-five format. The loser eventually hands over his title(pink slip) to his or her vehicle.

    "Pinks" is as popular as "Cops" once was. And it's now suffering the same fate.

    "Pinks" is little more than a lying match between the two racers, each trying their best (or worst) to fib their way into a win.

    As far as the nostalgia angle goes, I spent all my early years drag racing, on the street and on the track. Only complete idiots raced for pink slips.
